Monochrome and Millinery - The Ultimate Girl Squad!

Hi Everyone,

I just realised that I never updated my blog with my Galway Races outfit details!

So today I am starting with my first outing of Race Week and my Best Dressed Winning look…I am still shocked and absolutely over the moon that myself and my three lovely friends all of whom I met through social media by the way, won Best Dressed at The Galmont Hotel & Spa on the Wednesday evening of Galway Race Week.

We attended The Galmont Girl Squad event which was judged by four well known and fabulous ladies. We all wore monochrome outfits all of which suited our own individual styles and taste. Our outfits and headpieces were all from different designers/boutiques and milliners.

Monochrome is such a classic look and I think that it worked so well for us as we each put our own personal flair in to our outfit.

Four Ladies, one winning look…

My Jumpsuit was from Fusion Fashion which I bought on Sale for a bargain price last February.

My hat is from Ahead with Style a fabulous hat hire business and was made by the very talented Millinery By Laura.

My stunning belt was handmade by the amazing Elaine from Elaine Honey Designs.

My clutch bag is Ted Baker and was a birthday present from my mom a couple of weeks before the Races.

I finished off my look with a pair of black courts from Penneys and beautiful earrings from Perfect Pieces Accessories.

Included in our amazing €5k prize was a Prosecco Afternoon Tea just for the four of us, we are all so looking forward to that coming up to Christmas, it will be such a nice treat!

What do you think of our monochrome looks? Let me know!
